How I was Introduced to Young Living Essential Oils

To start off.... My oldest daughter will be 5 in 2 weeks! Ever since she was an infant each year around spring and fall season her right eye would start building up with tears and run down her face. When she was younger it wasn't horrible but as she got older it got worse. We always just thought it was some kind of allergy and always treated her with Amoxilcillin if the tearing lasted too long and that seemed to knock the "allergy".
Well it was last year in the fall starting around September it started up again. Went to the doctor was told to try this and to try that (eye drops) if this doesn't work time to see a pediatric ophthalmologist. We knew she had a blocked tear duct by this time and I had already searched for natural remedies to treat a blocked tear duct but nothing seemed worth trying. We went to the ophthalmologist and was told she has an obstruction in her tear duct so lets try more eye drops and if these don't work we will need to do surgery. It would be my call!
Great let me make this decision for this little girl! She has two eyes, she will have a scar, and I've been through surgery myself and it's scary stuff! I prayed and prayed about this. One morning I woke up, both girls slept in so I had some time to do some searching again. Low and behold what popped up. It was like my prayers had been answered.
Lavender Oil to unblock a tear duct... Hmm... ok... let's try this!
I have a friend of my husbands in Missouri and I knew she did something with oils but she had never tried to sell me anything. I had seen a lot of FB post and she was more on a natural level. I sent her a message and she happened to be busy that day so she didn't get right back to me. I loaded everyone up did my errands for the way and stopped in to the local vitamin store. She had a brand of Lavender Oil so I bought it. By the time I had got back home she had responded. Come to find out her granddaughter had the same issue and they used lavender oil as well and it worked for them. I told her what I had purchased "the opposing" brand. She was ok told me to use it and see what happens. I did and NOTHING happened! It seemed to make her eye worse so I had kind of given up on that oil. Within that week my friend had called to check on us see how it's going. I explained it seemed to make it worse. She asked me to please order her Young Living Lavender. I think I had invested in almost $100 in oil in one week! Oh well what the heck I've spent more on doctors visits and medications and surgery would have been way more than that! I received Young Living Lavender in the mail and started using it. Within a day I saw a dramatic change! Her eye had almost been clear all day. Now when her eye starts to look a little watery we grab the Lavender and start applying around her eye and down the bridge of her nose.From that point on we make sure we have Lavender stocked at home! Now at that time I still didn't see any need to have a bunch of oils. I thought I only had a use and need for Lavender. And this my friends is what started it all!!!!
